ArtsEkta is Northern Ireland's leading arts organisation devoted to addressing the needs of artists among ethnic minorities. We are an organisation that proudly promotes all cultures. 

 

ArtsEkta are the proud organisers of THE BELFAST MELA, which is now seen as a key annual event in Belfast's festival calendar. After the success of the 2007 and 2008 event, with a combined audience of over 22,000 people, THE BELFAST MELA 2009, which will take place on the 30th August 2009, 12-6pm, promises to be an even larger explosion of culture along the magnificent settings of Botanic Gardens! We want to play a part in the creating a world where there is no racial dicrimination and people of different cultures and backgrounds live and learn together in a supportive environment.
