ArtsEkta provides services in training, education and community work in an extremely creative manner. It endeavours towards relevance, openness and excellence in all arts forms. The organisation prides itself in showcasing innovative projects that will cherish the individual artist and encourage diversity.ArtsEkta is committed to promoting equality and understanding of different cultures through arts. We want to play a part in creating a world where there is no racial discrimination and people of different cultures and backgrounds live and learn together in a supportive environment.
The organisation’s services are delivered by a team of highly skilled and experienced freelance artists. We meet with each of our clients and access the needs and desired outcomes. After this meeting we provide them with a suggested programme of activity; once this is agreed we thenmatch them with a tutor who can deliver a programme tailored to their needs. Each potentialproject is assessed to find the best fit. An agreement with the project partners and an individual plan for artistic support and delivery is then agreed. We have a pool of thirty paid artists who provide workshops, educational sessions and performances to schools, colleges and community centres / groups across Northern Ireland. We are committed to identifying new artists through various different community channels.
