ArtsEkta recognises the contribution that new artists are bringing to our society, paticulary from minority ethnic communities and addresses the need for their professional development.
We provide a platform of support in order to develop and encourage the individual artist to flourish, while at the same time facilitating learning and intereaction with indigenous communities, enabling social integration and civic participation.
EmploymentArtsEkta currently employs 50+ artists from the local indigenous and minority ethnic communities. These multi-disciplinary artists are experienced in the areas of music, dance, drama, visual arts and crafts. Professional DevelopmentArtsEkta are committed to professionally developing all our artists to improve the delivery of our programmes and enhance individual skill sets. Through our artistic development programme we offer the following support:

- Networking opportunities
- Representation to statutory organisations and agencies
