The Mount Conference Centre in East Belfast played host to exciting celebrations featuring music, dance and visuals arts from across the globe. The event, supported by Housing Executive, Belfast Community Safety Partnership & Community Foundation NI, brought together young people from both communities in East Belfast, along with minority ethnic communities to celebrate diversity. 

The aim of the event was to create access to cultural and arts activity to young people in this area allowing them to partake in positive celebration.  Through an adaptation of ArtsEkta’s multi-award winning 'One World Day' and ‘Cultural Coach’ outreach programme the event built positive relations at a local level and promoted reconciliation. 

ArtsEkta will continue to work closely with our partners Charter NI and Lower Castlreagh Group to keep on delivering these integrated events at the heart of the community.
