Since the beginning of October ArtsEkta has been delivering a programme of arts workshops to over 100 partcipants across schools and community settings across Lisburn & Castlereagh. The workshops have focused on raising awareness of different cultures including Indian, Polish, Chinese, Irish and African. 

Funded through Lisburn & Castlereagh's joint Peace III programme, the project has offered opportunities for the development of good & community relations and the promotion of cultural diversity throughout the council areas. 

To mark the close of the programme ArtsEkta will be celebrating a number of a number of showcase cultural events across Lisburn & Castlereagh with the main one being on the 26 November from 2pm-5pm at Ballyoran Centre, Dundonald. The event will feature: 

• World Food
• Entertainment 
• Henna Tattoos 
• Face Painting
• Polish Arts & Crafts
• African Drumming
• Chinese Calligraphy
• Artistic Showcases from Outreach Programme
