"Our educational outreach programme has been so successful that we are now seen as the only key service provider of ethnic workshops to schools and community groups throughout the Belfast region and beyond".

An outreach project is usually one week to six weeks or longer and has a strong participatory element to it. It often also has a performance outcome. ArtsEkta supports in the delivery of numerous outreach projects through helping shape the project, contracting and managing artists, support with the final performance and provision of general advice and guidance throughout. An educational resource pack full of activities will be provided.

The facilitators have established demand for ethnic arts and culture throughout Ireland and will facilitate outreach programmes featuring demonstrations and performances. Our aim is to provide workshops, educational sessions and performances that will involve schools, colleges, community centres and groups across Northern Ireland.
